Der Regen in den vergangenen Wochen hat die Pegel zahlreicher Fliisse vor allem im Siiden und Westen des Landes in die Hohe getrieben.
So haben zum Beispiel der Rhein, die Mosel, die Saar und die Donau Hochwassermeldestande iiberschritten.

Uferwege sind iiberflutet. Mancherorts, wie in Teilen von Koblenz, wurden Hochwasserschutzwande aufgestellt, um Wohnhauser zu schiitzen.
Am Rhein-Pegel Maxau bei Karlsru he liegt der Wasserstand iiber der kritischen Marke von 7,50 Metern, so dass der Flussabschnitt fiir die Schifffahrt gesperrt bleibt.
Friihestens am Dienstag diirfte die Marke unterschritten werden.
Riverside paths are flooded. In some places, such as parts of Koblenz, flood protection walls were erected to protect residential buildings. At the Maxau Rhine gauge near Karlsruhe, the water level is above the critical mark of 7.50 meters, so that the section of the river remains closed to shipping. The mark should not be undershot until Tuesday at the earliest.

Am Pegel Neu burg entspricht der Wasserstand einem Hochwasserereigni, was durchschnittlich alle zwei Jahre auftritt.
Dort sinkt der Wasserstand nun leicht.
Auch an Mosel und Saar geht das Wasser leicht zurilck.
