'With a bit of luck, we will see you all in the New Year'

2/12/2020

Wow! What a year it has been, due to COVID 19!

Hopefully you have all been able to do some kind of exercise over this period, and hopefully (like me) you are looking forward to the time when we can meet again to resume our exercise regime.

Meantime, Mel & I wish you all a wonderful Christmas Season with family & friends, and with a bit of luck, we will see you all once again, in the New Year, when we can get fit together.

Best Christmas Wishes.

'I hope you are all getting some kind of exercise'

This Pandemic has certainly shut down our Exercise Group with no hint of when we can resume.

I hope you are all getting some kind of exercise while we are in isolation.    Maybe walking round the neighbourhood, admiring the winter gardens, or walking around the Lake, Even doing some bike riding!  Some of us may have created our own Indoor Exercise Regime.

Whatever has been happening in your house, I hope you are all coping, and like me, looking forward to the day when we can resume our Exercise Class again.

Stay safe, and hoping we can re-open and meet again soon.

Can we keep in contact without breaking any rules?

Hope you are all getting some exercise whilst in isolation.

Mel and I have been researching how we can all keep in contact without breaking any rules, in these unusual times.

Presently, we are working on a programme that could possibly connect us all to our Exercise Class, through the Internet.  It involves you downloading a free app called “Zoom cloud” on your mobile phone, or your tablet, iPad or laptop at home.

If we can get the programme to run successfully, we will let you know more.  In the meantime, stay safe.

What a wonderful group of people we have attending the Exercise class.   We have many new faces, and it’s very encouraging to see everyone so enthusiastic to become a little more active and improve their fitness.   Keep up the good work.

Exercising does not stop for Labor Day.    It will be held as usual in the Seniors Hall.   See you Mondays 9.30am in Seniors hall.     Have fun!

Our last Class for this year was celebrated in the Seniors hall, with everyone bringing a small plate to share, after our Exercises.

A big “thank you” went to all participants for making this Class so successful and enjoyable.   It was so encouraging to hear that everyone appreciated the friendly atmosphere of the Exercise Class.

May you all have a Happy Christmas and New Year, and we hope to see you all back again next year.

Meantime, have fun!

We are all becoming very proficient in our Exercise Class each Monday, and our Marching has greatly improved over the year.

Sadly, we will be finishing up for the Christmas season, at the end of November.    The last Monday 25th Nov. will be our last class for this year.

We will resume Classes the 1st Monday in February, 2020.  Hope to see you all then.

Meantime, Have Fun!

You are invited to come and try our enjoyable Exercise class, to see if it could be for you. We meet 9.30am every Monday in the Senior Citizens room.

Hope to see you there.   Have fun!

Our friendly Exercise Class braves the Winter Chills and is very well attended these very cold mornings.   We warm up with mild exercises to music, then marching and a few foot tapping dances, which burn off energy and help us stay fit & healthy.    We have a 9.30am start every Monday in the Senior Citizens hall.    All welcome.  Have fun!

'Beginning the day with exercise helps us to keep warm'

Even though we are having below zero degrees temperatures these mornings, our Exercise class is still being very well attended.   We have found that beginning the day with exercise, helps us to keep warm, and in good spirits for the rest of the day.

If you wish to join us for a bit of exercise on these cold mornings, we start at 9.30am in the Senior Citizens hall every Monday.

See you there.  Have fun.
