U3A Easy Walks group celebrated a successful year with a Christmas break up at the historic Tatong Tavern, organised by our 2022 convenors, Julie and Glen. The iconic Hotel is under new management, owners Stuart and Melisse, together with Maggie, chef/barista, and French backpackers Martin and Cecile, providing first class hospitality. We all enjoyed a lovely meal, matched with local wines. During the after lunch speeches, to thank Julie and Glen for a successful year, Glen announced she was retiring, Julie taking sole control. A brief stroll around the Hotel Gardens and a peek at the nearby Sawdust Burner completed an enjoyable way to end the year.
