April 3rd Easy Walk - Lake Benalla Walking Track
A change of location has been made to Benalla U3A Easy Walk, Wednesday, 3 April 2019 due to the Funeral Service for Noel Meagher at 1.30 pm on this date. Noel was a long term member of Benalla U3A, a Convenor and friend to many.
The Benalla U3A Easy Walks Convenors, Wendy Sturgess and I,invite all new and long time
participants of U3A Easy Walks to join us on Wednesday, 3 April for a walk around our beautiful
Lake Benalla Walking Track and surrounds concluding with lunch in the Gardens. If attending please contact Margaret Walshe, Phone: 57623906/0427005202; meet in the carpark behind Seniors Complex, Fawckner Drive, Benalla at 9.45 am for departure at 10 am; bring water and a snack to nibble on whilst walking plus lunch.
The Yarrawonga Walk will be rescheduled for later in the year.
We look forward to welcoming old and new members on the first U3A Easy Walk for 2019.

Wednesday May 1st Easy Walk - Lake Sambell, Beechworth
The walk around Lake Sambell and nearby passes by part of Beechworth’s early gold mining history. Beechworth is a well-preserved historic town, colorful in autumn featuring many mature deciduous trees. The morning walk will be around Lake Sambell with an extension to the walk following lunch.
Meet in the car park behind the Seniors Complex (U3A), Fawckner Drive, Benalla at 9.45am for departure at 10am. Participants, please contact Wendy Sturgess on 0403 226 649 by Monday, 29 April 2019, phone: 0403 226 649.
