Autumn Colours
We managed to keep Rosie out of the many antique shops, before visiting the facade of the old Hospital then finding ourselves in 2 churches. A stroll across and beside Spring Creek led us to what remains of the Chinese gardens and back to the lake for lunch. Freya had some difficulty with an aggressive duck, before we had a short walk around the wetlands, and left for home.
We return to Violet Town for a pleasant walk along Honeysuckle Creek. It is interesting to see what a small community can do to provide sporting and recreation facilities. It is an easy walk, mostly on tracks. We leave from the Centre car park at 10 am.
