On Wednesday November 4, eight walkers set off from Ridge road in the Warby Ranges toward the Pangarang Lookout. The weather was fine and the bush was looking fresh after the recent rain. A profusion of bright yellow Golden Everlastings lined most of the track, with the occasional blue of Finger flowers, Wahlenbergias and Rock Isotomes.
We lunched at the lookout where an old tree has forced roots through and lifted a mass of granite. We had great views of the surrounding farm lands. The walk distance was 4.54km.
