Meditation is a wonderful way to start the day. It creates a calming effect on both the body and mind. Meditation with some controlled movements of exercise is what is explored with this group. Come along and learn how to enjoy each moment. The Group meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 4.00pm.
Participants are very involved in this group. The Meditation and learning about the wellness of ourselves and living for the moment is very rewarding.

Sessions of Meditation and Relaxation do vary week to week.
As we will have had our sixth session now, I believe that some people enjoy the session and find it relaxing, calming and enjoyable. 1st and 3rd Monday - 4pm - 5pm.
When we have lots of thoughts buzzing around it is very hard to stay focused and after we don’t know where to begin. At the session we begin by correct breathing, gentle exercises which can be done whilst seated followed by some relaxation techniques.
Meditation is about relaxation and self awareness. Take an hour out of every 1st and 3rd Monday between 4 and 5 pm to join with other U3A Benalla members in a quiet space for reflective meditation guided by Caroline Sims.
