It is wonderful to hear from Heather Sloan that U3A patchwork group member Doreen Harrison has been transferred from hospital in Melbourne to Wangaratta.
Heather has made a beautifully coloured lap quilt for Doreen and brought it along to the Hub at our first November meeting. Heather had made room on the back panel for group members to sign.
Heather explained it is in a quilting design which Doreen has made in the past and loves.
I'm sure just looking at it will make Doreen feel better - it is just beautiful.
