Along with the decision to change the publication detail to the upcoming month, after trialling a copy deadline of 28th day of the month for two months,we've decided upon a new deadline - the 25th day of the month at midday.
This provides the newsletter/website team with the time needed to prepare and carefully edit the newsletter and put upcoming dates mentioned in the newsletter reports into the website calendar and 'What's On' page.
The extra days will mean we will be able to publish the newsletter in a more timely way for the upcoming month.
As a general rule the only groups likely to fall on or after the 25th are Wine Appreciation and Garden Appreciation - these groups generally provide details of their next two to three months excursions in each newsletter report.
Lorraine Knox would like to thank her many friends in U3A for their support, cards messages and phone calls on the passing of her husband, Henry. “It was really appreciated and meant a lot to us all. Many, many thanks. Lorraine.”
