In ‘Program News’, Monday Games has been discontinued, while The News Fact or Fiction will no longer be at the Cooinda Hub. It will resume in the U3A meeting room at the Seniors Community Centre on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. At this stage, all other courses and activities will stay the same when we open again.
If you have any ideas for new courses or activities, please get in touch with any of the Committee.
The Committee is setting up the ability for you to be able to pay your Membership for 2022 online. Direct payment on Registration Day will still be available.
In ‘Building News’, we recently had a clean-up, sharing the cost of the skip with the Seniors. A job well done. The small meeting room (we are calling room 2) is now equipped with Computer and wall mounted Smart TV. It has been used for drop-in training on Thursday mornings and will continue to be a wonderful extra space for the future. Next year’s Program information will state Room 1 or Room 2.
It will soon be October, traditionally a time when we invite friends interested in joining U3A to ‘taste’ our courses and activities. This offer is open again this year, with pandemic work arounds where necessary.
November is also just around the corner! Chrismont Winery has been booked on Tuesday 23 November for the U3A Benalla end of year celebration - details will be confirmed in upcoming newsletters.
