Thanks to Benalla Rural City we have been successful with our recent Community Grant Application. We have received $2,500 to provide visual equipment in the Senior’s Auditorium for use by U3A Benalla and the Senior Citizens.
Some of the classes have had a drop in numbers, which is not unusual for this time of the year. Convenors, don’t be disheartened, it’s just the way things go.
The small meeting room is now available for use, though no technology has been installed yet. The rubbish bins now have Padlocks put on them to stop the public using them. The keys are on the wall inside the kitchen door. In other news, the hot water is now up and running!
We are still confirming details of regional restrictions following the initial lockdown and working to clarify whether U3A classes or groups can meet. If necessary we will draw upon previous strategies developed to offer alternatives. We will keep you updated when we have further information.
