July’s Meet and Mingle saw the launch of the new U3A website http://u3abenalla.weebly.com.
Bev Lee, who has been instrumental in developing the site, launched the program and explained to a very interested audience just what information is available on the site.
Not only are U3A activities and programs available but district news. There are links to Swan pool Cinema, Benalla Bus Line timetables, the Art Gallery and BPACC to name a few. There are also sections for the various U3A programs and the newsletter.
Following Bev’s presentation she introduced a ’Treasure Hunt’. Groups then looked at the website to find the answers. A novel way to make sure we had a good look at this very comprehensive site. There is also a timetable of daily and weekly events which Lorraine has been updating.
Bev is to be congratulated on her efforts.
