Our guest speaker for May was Ian Maver from Wangaratta. Ian is a member of U3A Benalla and attends the Sky’s the Limit, Tech Talks and Music Appreciation groups.
Ian, who originated from Scotland, spoke on his time in the Aircraft Industry in the UK and his subsequent qualifications as an Engineer in America and Australia. These qualifications led to an interesting working career in Australia and Indonesia.
The guest speaker for June Meet and Mingle will be Lou Sigmund who will speak on “Inventions – Successes and Failures”. Lou has retired to Warrenbayne after managing an international company which marketed Inventions.
