Dave Barry’s teapot had belonged to his Aunty Joyce who was a first woman tram driver in Melbourne. Quite a feat and something to be proud of. It was a case of teapots galore, of all shapes and sizes and materials. We also had some really lovely teacups. Lorraine brought along a collection of tea caddies of different eras and sizes, each with a story to tell. A very enjoyable session and thanks to all those who participated and brought along many items of interest including some jewellery.
Our suggested theme for October is ‘tableware’ and it is sure to be another interesting session with many items displayed. This will be our second last session for the year with the theme in November being ‘Christmas’.
