Beverley commenced the session with Mozart’s ‘Concerto in C Major’ for flute and harp played by flautist Patrick Gallois and harp player Fabrice Pierre with the Orchestra della Svizzera italiana conducted by Sir Neville Marriner.
John presented an unknown composer/violinist, Heinrich Wilhem Ernst, 1814-1865. Compositions were Concerto Pathetique Concertino, Eligie Sur la Mort d’un, Rondo Papageno. The violinist Ilya Grubert, with the Russian Philharmonic Orchestra.
