For the first part of session John presented a lesser known composer, Robert Fuchs (1847-1927), who was a protégé of Johannes Brahms. The music presented was Serenades No’s 1 and 2. The second half of session, John presented Johannes Brahms (1833-1897) Piano Concerto No 2. Pianist, William Backhaus and orchestra Wiener Philharmonic.

John presented a Soviet composer, Reinhold Gliere (1875-1956). The music played was Symphony No 1 in E Flat with the Slovak Philharmonic, conducted by Stephan Gunzenhauser.
Neville presented a session of Mozart. The highlights were various YouTube segments from Ave Verum Corpus, and a concert in the Vatican comprising Mozart’s Violin Sonata in G Major with soloist Hillary Han.
