In our second session for June, Freida presented a Scottish music selection by a group of five musicians entitled ‘Taliska’. This included vocal, harp, piano accordion and French horn.
Doug presented a selection of world famous choirs, notably the Mormon, the Welsh male choir and the Brigham Young men’s choir.

John presented the composer and pianist Enrique Granados (1867-1916). The compositions were Piano Trio op 50, Piano Quintet in G Minor, the Intermezzo from the opera Goyescas.
The second composer was Franz Shubert (1797-1828). The presentation was Symphony number 9, entitled Great.
