Composers Gade, Rachmaninoff and Clementi; and a look at three instruments - the harp; cor anglais and the tuba.

On the 22nd May, John presented composer Niels Wilhelm Gade, Violin Sonatas Nos 1 and 3. Also Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No.2.

On the 12th June, Doug presented his research of three instruments.  The related DVD’s were:

1. The Harp - soloist with the St Petersburg Orchestra
   
   
2. Cor Anglais (English Horn) – solo recital
   
   
3. The Tuba – solo with orchestra.
   
   

Following Doug's presentation, John presented Italian Composer/Pianist Muzio Clementi with a selection of his Sonatas.
