Right here, right now, I am learning more about my paternal ancestors. My brother has been contacted by a distant relation who believes she has information and photos of my paternal grandparents, information we thought we would never be able to find.
Right here, right now, I am growing. Who I am is evolving day by day.
We have settled in Benalla, and we are becoming known in the community.
I am volunteering around Benalla – BPACC and Community development areas. I am involved with the U3A, meeting people and learning new things.
Tim is volunteering at the Visitor Information Centre – or at least he is during the “off-gliding” season. And he is about to go back on the BBN Committee.
We are appreciating the facilities that are available here in Benalla.
We love the walk around the lake, the friendly smiles and greetings while we walk each day.
We enjoy what BPACC has to offer, but would love to see more live performances.
While we do not go to the Art Gallery often we appreciate it, and love that it brings many to Benalla.
Our only grumble about Benalla, is the few people who grumble about what it does not have. We are a rural community, and for a town our size, we have so much to enjoy.
So, right here, right now, we should all be encouraging the people around town to appreciate and enjoy Benalla.
