The creative writers are now working on ‘a bed time story for children set in North East Victoria’ for sharing in April.
The 2018 Writing Workshop ‘menu’ of options is now in operation. Creative writing enthusiasts met first, with Jenny McKenna and Joy Shirley agreeing to guide the group as Helen Treloar Duggin has decided to focus on her own writing this year and is unavailable. Thank you Helen for your work in releasing the creative powers of group members last year - we do hope you will pop in to our pub sessions and share your writing journey with us!

Creative WritingHave you ever thought of writing a short story, a novel, entering a writing competition? Creative Writing is a 'guided self-help' creative writing session. Each month we have a writing prompt, or a selection of prompts, to provide a starting point. This can be a starting sentence, a topic, or perhaps a writing challenge. The stories written during the month are shared with the class for feedback. When meeting together, each session will start with a short writing or word challenge, followed by sharing of the feedback and, where time allows, discussion of writing hints and lessons.
