It was a small group this month with a few people away. We found the topic more difficult than in previous months - choose a headline and write a story resulting from the headline. The challenge was finding a headline that encouraged the creative juices. However, in the end we were able to complete the task. It may be something to attempt again next year.
For next month there is a selection of topics, all relating to rain/weather - or are they? The topics are:
Character 1: "Listen to the rain pounding on the roof!"//Character 2: "That's Not rain.'
"Share my umbrella, lady?"
"I thought you said this tent was waterproof!"
After two hours of brain-numbing, thud-swish of windshield wipers, Carol stopped her car.
Anyone interested in joining the Creative Writing group is welcome to join us on 12 November at 1.30 pm to get a taste of how we are encouraging one another to write a piece of fiction.
