At the September meeting of Investment we looked at the Reporting season in August and how it applied to a selected number of stocks. We noted that there was a modest growth in profits for most companies, the dividends in the majority of cases being slightly increased or just maintained. Perhaps this was a follow on from the increased dividends from some companies seen pre-Election.
We also looked at an article by Alan Hull regarding a group of infrastructure companies which continue to build value.
