Heather Wallace
Come along on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month to spend a convivial couple of hours playing the game of 500. A good way to sharpen the brain power in an enjoyable way.
Heather Wallace Caught during a Saturday Games '500' Session! Six people in two groups of three players were caught in action on Saturday 19 October following the instructions for playing in '3's format! Convenor Heather Wallace has prepared a handout on ways of playing for different sized groups, so there is always the chance to play. A pleasant way to spend a Saturday afternoon for card lovers keen to engage those brain cells! People are welcome to join in as we play in different formats to learn team configuration and scoring. |
Cards '500'The card game of 500 is a simple social game to play with groups of 4 players or more.
Playing cards is a fun way of enjoying other's company without physical exertion. Our U3A group of card players has many laughs and fun at our sessions with easy to understand rules. Players do not have to have had previous experience as you will be taught how to play by others present. We are a friendly and welcoming group where the focus is on having fun in a mildly competi-tive environment. There is no gambling or money involved. The game is flexible and can be configured to accommodate any number of participants. This allows for flexibility if you cannot come along on a regular basis. Convenor & Contact DetailsDoug Smith
