Our Games program has expanded to include Saturday sessions! The first activity last Saturday was made up of participants ranging from beginners to experienced players of the Card Game 500. A number of players have played 500 previously (many years ago???) and with practice will become more proficient at the game. This activity is held the 1st and 3rd Saturday in the month, in the U3a room at the Seniors Citizens commencing at 1.30pm to 3.30pm (or until the games are finished). If members are interested in participating and having fun on a Saturday afternoon contact Heather Wallace on 0418 353 244.

Cards '500'The card game of 500 is a simple social game to play with groups of 4 players or more.
Playing cards is a fun way of enjoying other's company without physical exertion. Our U3A group of card players has many laughs and fun at our sessions with easy to understand rules. Players do not have to have had previous experience as you will be taught how to play by others present. We are a friendly and welcoming group where the focus is on having fun in a mildly competi-tive environment. There is no gambling or money involved. The game is flexible and can be configured to accommodate any number of participants. This allows for flexibility if you cannot come along on a regular basis. Convenor & Contact DetailsDoug Smith
