'A Taste of Art' sessions for U3A are now back in full swing!

After having only one session in 2020, and a disrupted second year in in 2021, Broken River Painters ‘A Taste of Art’ sessions for U3A are now back in full swing.

‘A Taste of Art’ operates as an art workshop in a relaxed atmosphere with mentoring and support from artists of the Broken River Painters. Fortnightly sessions on 1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesday from 1.30 – 4; Barc Hut 11, Migrant Camp Precinct.

'A Taste of Art'

Benalla's Broken River Painters group offers 'A Taste of Art' to U3A members interested in taking up or renewing their interest in drawing and painting. The course operates as an art workshop in a relaxed atmosphere with mentoring and support from artists of the Broken River Painters. No experience is necessary, however more experienced artists are welcome to enrol. No materials or equipment are required, but feel free to bring along pencils, charcoal, paints and brushes for watercolour, oils and acrylics and pastels. Members are welcome to join the Broken River Painters group and exhibit with their members in art shows and markets in the north east as well as in the Benalla Hospital.

Meeting times

Fortnightly sessions commencing on Wednesday 7 February, 2024.1.30 to 4:00 pm.
Broken River Painters Studio; BARC Hut #11, Airport precinct
