We would like to thank Bev Thornell and Andi Stevenson for adding photos of Wine Appreciation, Easy Walks and Birdwatching activities to our Facebook page, which now has 324 followers. The photos also provide a rich source of images of outdoor activities for the newsletter and website. Thank you to convenors and others, including David Palmer and Rene Martens, who have also submitted photos this year.
Thanks also to Membership Officer Len Jeffers for the unflappable ease with which he facilitates communication with members, including emailing the newsletter this year when Heather was unwell.
This year we have tried to ensure that every group has been photographed and represented in the newsletter and on the website’s ‘Gallery 2023’ page. Thank you for being prepared to participate!
Finally, a reminder that the session resources for several courses are included on the website. Horst’s ‘German Lessons’ page is a particular case in point, also Photography’s ‘Session Resources’ and John Barry’s ‘In the Lap of the Gods’. Links to the music listened to each session feature on the Music Appreciation page, while videos shown have featured on the Exploring the Universe page for many years. That’s just a start… and something to follow up if you find you are missing U3A during the holiday season.
The final Newsletter for 2023 has lots of reading and photos to keep you up with what has happened and some information on 2024 activities.

We hope you enjoy this ‘bumper’ edition of the newsletter. Enjoy your break!
