We are very excited and thankful that the U3A room is now connected to the NBN. That means we have more data available delivered at faster speeds.

This month our group has been doing some internet research each week. (eg. looking at recipes, real estate, local arts events and spring flowering bulbs.) Then we’ve been using our search information to Bookmark and to enter into our digital calendars

Currently we are working on the email, camera and photo apps. Just to let your know - We are having a GR8 time learning to use our iPads.

Tech Savvy Apple - 'Pages'

In Semester I 2023 Jenny Sawyer is offering a short course for those interested in Word Processing using Apple's free inbuilt app, "Pages". Monthly sessions will explore Apple's alternative to Word (The orange square with the pen).

For a number of years Tech Savvy Beginners - Apple was offered for people new to iPads and iPhones. With fewer beginners these days, Jenny Sawyer is now offering short courses which move on from the basics.
