At our first gathering for 2015 we had 32 members to hear Contemporary Local artist Tony Flint speak on his latest works in the exhibition "Helter Skelter". He spoke of his early childhood experiences in the Opal Mines of outback Australia and his present concerns regarding the impact of large mining on the Australian Landscape. Tony's talk made the colours and paintings come to life. Our next meeting is on Monday 2nd March 10:00 am when The Gallery Director Bryony Nainby will speak with us about paintings from the Ledger Collection which should be most interesting.
