An excellent resource, ‘How to get started with your Paypal Account’, suggests following these steps to deposit money to cover bills:

- Create your login details.
- Tell us more about yourself.
- Link your credit or debit card*.
- Verify your email address.
- (Optional) Verify your mobile phone number.
