This month we explored the Google Earth App. The Unit, ‘Exploring Google Earth’, is found in the Online Hobbies Section of Be Connected topics. ‘Google Earth is a computer program that’s like an interactive digital atlas. You can plot distances on maps and view in various modes. It must be remembered that none of the real-life images are in real time. They are satellite images taken beforehand - sometimes years ago.
So, over the course of two weeks, we familiarised ourselves with Google Earth and went searching and exploring the earth.
And yes, we all found our current and sometimes a previous house that we had lived in.
