We have lots of new students who want to be better acquainted with their Apple iPads, Apple iPhones or learn how to use an iPad on a borrowed U3A iPad.
In our first session we learned about the buttons, ports and the camera lenses on iPads. We also discussed WiFi and got ourselves connected to the U3A WiFi.
In the second session our main focus was ‘surfing the web’ which we did via Google.
One of the Quiz questions asked was, ‘When did the Queen visit Benalla?’ Interestingly there were two differing answers; 1953 and 1954, depending upon which website you went to. So beware! ‘Fake facts’ are out there.
