At our last session we watched several videos. One of particular interest was a documentary on the construction of the Snowy Mountain Authority Those of us of a certain age grew up when this large construction project was in full force and was well publicised in the newspapers of the time. There were many familiar images shown of dams, turbines, tunnels etc being built which we could all remember. Certain veterans of the scheme were able to bring us their own particular reminiscences.
We also saw a video of a new form of propulsion which may be the answer to long term space travel. Our next session is on Tuesday 13th April. We will be discussing Quantum Computers and Hydrogen Fuel Cells. Neville Gibb
