Due to excellent enrolment of members, we now have Wait Lists for three courses: Mahjong, Colour Mixing and Watercolour Technique – Botanical and Family Research- Getting Started. In each case there is a limit to how many members each Convenor can comfortably impart knowledge to, and it is better for those in the group to come to understand fully what the course is about, than to only get partial knowledge about the course.

On Thursday 20th February I was the guest speaker at the Rose City Probus group who meet at the Benalla Bowls Club. The topic they suggested was “my life experiences” which naturally included a good segment on U3A Benalla. My thanks to Bev Lee for her assistance with the slides for this presentation.
Finally, U3A Benalla have been thinking about succession planning for our growing organisation. We are looking for someone to be a “back-up” for our Newsletter Editor, Heather Wallace, and also a “back-up” for our Website Manager Bev Lee. If you are interested in knowing what either backup position would entail, please contact Heather on 0418 353 244 or Bev on 0478 607 838.
