The Aim of Be Connected is to digitally connect all Australians
U3A Benalla has been involved with Be Connected since July 2018
- Jenny Sawyer ran the first Be Connected courses, which replaced our Tech Savvy Seniors program.
- Through Grants from the Good Things Foundation U3A Benalla have purchased several iPads and Tablets which have been lent to people starting on their digital journey and other equipment including the classroom computer in Room 2 and small Wi-Fi printers for use in Be Connected classes.
- Celebrated Get On Line Week each October as we are doing here today
- Used the Be Connected Topic Library to give information to members who come to our digital classes
Courses available in the Topic Library involve starter courses for beginners such as using your

- WiFi and Data
- Safety
- Apple
- Android
- Staying in touch
- Games and practice
