These old stations have now been converted to picnic areas with a comfort stop - the buildings have been designed to look like steam engines.
Eight walkers set off on the 5 km trek from the old Tarrawingee station stop through the peaceful paddocks to the next old station site at Everton Upper. Here the walkers stopped for a picnic lunch and rest before continuing on for another 2.5kms downhill to the road just near the Everton Pub. A most pleasant walk on a lovely sunny winter’s day. On the way home, a stop was made at the Milawa Bakery for afternoon tea
