The rain cleared, the sun shone, and twelve enthusiastic walkers met for a hike along the dam wall at the Wetlands. Along a stretch of about 6km return, we noted the brimming Mokoan ponds on one side, and lush crops on the other. Our photographers were busy and we met some birdwatchers doing a count of all the bird life attracted to this beautiful area. Moving on to Greens Hill, we had a picnic lunch and a shorter walk before adjourning to the Hub cafe for coffee, finishing off an interesting day.
