U3A EASY BUSHWALKING: GLENROWAN HISTORY ORIENTEERING:
WEDNESDAY JULY 2
An interesting morning’s stroll around Glenrowan streets finding answers to written
clues. After an early lunch, plus optional coffee from the café of your choice, we
resume the walk with another set of questions to answer, this time on the history of
the Kelly Gang’s links to Glenrowan and district.
Destination: Glenrowan Lions Park, next to the new toilet block. Lunch and
afternoon tea also in the Park.

WEDNESDAY AUGUST 6
A walk along the Ovens River (Torryong) Track, along the way viewing Indigenous
Landmarks, admiring the Wattles and listening to bird song. After lunch, a short drive
back to Kaluna park, to follow bush tracks beside the King River.
