Other resources will be added to the page including YouTube videos.  For example -this app which could be of interest to carers in our group -

'Gather My Crew'

"The Gather My Crew app, allows people to ask for and receive practical help from friends and family in tough times.

Create a profile using the app available on www.gathermycrew.org.au  and invite people, including friends, to be part of a crew to provide support for a relative or friend you are caring for.

List the support tasks needed and when – and members can put their name to the ones they can do as they are posted, plus see what others have already picked up on.

It will also give the person being cared for security as they can see who is doing what for them."

Link to using the app – good explanation https://www.gathermycrew.org.au/helptech/"

Where there's a website, but no app, it's useful to put an icon link to the website on your phone or tablet.   Here are Dawn's instructions for iphone, ipad and windows PC users...

New Course - Choose sessions which meet your learning needs

2/2/2026

New Course!  Digital Upskilling for Lifelong Learners commences on Friday 6 February at 2 pm in Room 1.  It is held monthly on the 1st Friday from 2 pm to 4 pm, with additional ‘5th Wednesday’ sessions in April, July and September.

The topic for our first session on Friday 6 February at 2pm is ‘Benalla Online’, an opportunity to better understand the process of downloading and using Apps from Google Play and the App Store while exploring apps and services that connect you with the Benalla community.

Bring along your mobile or ipad/tablet device - you will be tempted to try the apps we will be introducing.

We are delighted that Melissa Antony from Community Business Connect will be taking workshops in Semester 1, including A Beginners Introduction to Microsoft Office on Friday 6 March; Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Authentic Communications (am) (encore session) and Using AI for Planning Courses and other Activities on Wednesday 29 April (pm);  and Getting more from your photo’ on Friday 5 June (encore)

Choose sessions which meet your learning needs –you don’t need to attend every session.
