We really have done well with the weather this year, and eight walkers set off on a beautiful sunny morning to wander the Reef Hill trails. There were still plenty of wildflowers to be seen, and we had the added bonus of new walker Julie F’s expertise, as well as the return of Bev’s photography skills.
A pleasant couple of hours was rounded off with a picnic lunch--we are so lucky to have these trails on our doorstep!
Wednesday November 6th: Milawa Rail Trail
Our last walk for the year sets out from John Mcaleese park at Milawa, heading towards the historic Oxley Flour Mill. Turning back shortly before Oxley, and admiring the passing vineyards, we will return to a picnic at Milawa, either BYO or from one of the local cafes. A stroll (or drive) to the Milawa Cheese Factory for coffee may follow!
Meet at the Seniors’ carpark, Fawckner Drive to leave at 9.30am with confirmation to Julie by text, email or phone message on 0407823031 or [email protected]
Car sharing is usually available for a small contribution.
Our Christmas lunch will be on Wednesday 4th December at the Goorambat Hotel, if everyone could confirm to Julie as above by Wed 20th November.
