With over 30 people enrolling for Tech Savvy Beginners participants have been divided into two groups; Apple and Android. There there will now be consecutive sessions for each group starting off with the Apple group.

So far we've looked at buttons and ports, logged onto to the U3A WiFi, added to the contact list and researched the Benalla U3A website. We are learning to love our devices!

'Be Connected'

*Be Connected is U3A Benalla's response to an Australian Government initiative comprising online learning modules which help to make the most out of being online.

U3A Benalla's involvement with 'Be Connected' and 'The Good Things Foundation' results in links to resources and funding opportunities, including for a 'Get Online' event in October each year.

'Be Connected' incorporates our 'Tech Advice' program, in which appointment only problem solving sessions provide one to one help to members experiencing problems using their devices,
solving problems in family research or when working on community projects.

Be Connected also celebrates 'Get on Line Week' in October - usually at Meet and Mingle and involving lunch on the 'balcony' looking towards the lake.
